PD51 Patient Perspective: A Preliminary Analysis Of The First Year Of The Patient Involvement in CONITEC Meetings

Introduction The Patient Perspective is an initiative to include the testimonials of patients or their representatives at time initial recommendation health technology assessment (HTA) processes developed by National Committee for Health Technology Incorporation in Brazilian Public System (CONITEC). It allows these actors be involved prior public consultation. This action articulated with a framework strategies encourage patient and involvement (PPI) HTA (SUS). paper aims analyze first year its implementation. Methods descriptive study, based on document analysis (minutes meetings, technical society reports, videos CONITEC tables internal control, etc.) systematic observation activities related initiative. Field notes were taken contents coded, following content criteria.
